Resident Profile:
Residence of Martin Estete, a key figure in the province's military administration. He was one of the original expeditionaries in 1524 and served as Fortress Guardian de León de Nagrando.

Relevant Historical Event:
Estete was the enforcer of the governor's orders Pedrarias Dávila. In 1526, was in charge of capturing the founder in the city of Granada Francisco Hernández de Córdoba, an event that preceded the trial and execution of the latter in the main square.
